28th June 2019-Weekly Update

Dear Parents and Carers

Please can you ensure your child is picked up on time. We have to adhere to strict health and safety regulations. Please be prompt when picking up from the lunch time session, particularly Wednesday and Thursday when we are off to Forest School in the afternoon. The morning session finishes at 11.50am, lunch club at 12.50 pm and afternoon at 15.20 pm. Thank you for your cooperation.

Water, water everywhere what a wet week we’ve had!

Our adult led focus this week was sea vehicles. Children traced, painted and coloured in a sea vehicle. Oh and not forgetting playing in the tuff/water trays with the boats.

In PE this week we played team games, practising working together passing a ball over our heads and between our legs.

In our music session the children practice their leavers concert songs.

At Forest School this week we followed a trail of clues to the pirate ship, made soup and tea and explored using the treasure maps. We made a pulley system using rope and buckets and looked for bugs using microscopes. a message from Selina ‘ Please can you ensure your child has a long sleeved top and leggings/tracksuit bottoms in their bag. As the weather is hot it is too hot for our waterproofs at the moment and the nettles are nearly as tall as the children. Thank you.

The children have been super busy learning the songs to our farewell leavers concert.

The children have been extremely hungry this week and eaten all our snacks in our cupboards. Please could we have some extra snack for our cupboards next week.
